Zinc Anode Replacement

Zincs are your boat’s defense against galvanic corrosion. Our divers inspect anode condition and replace depleted anodes on shafts, props, struts, trim tabs, and other underwater fittings. Proper sizing and secure installation are essential for protection and reliability in local waters.

Benefits

  • Protect shafts, props, and underwater metals from corrosion.
  • Reduce risk of pitting and costly component failures.
  • Verify anode contact and secure fasteners below the waterline.
  • Pair with cleaning to maximize protection and performance.

Our Process

  1. Inspect and photograph existing anodes and fittings.
  2. Confirm sizing and material for your operating environment.
  3. Remove depleted anodes and clean contact surfaces.
  4. Install and torque new sacrificial anodes; verify alignment.
  5. Document condition with photos attached to your invoice.

Pricing

Installation: $25 per anode (+ materials). Save on labour by bundling with Hull Cleaning or Propeller Polishing.
